Carol MacLeod

Carol is a native of Kennebunkport and presently lives in Cape Porpoise, Maine, with her husband, Robert MacLeod, who is also an artist. Her professional career has been in the field of Nursing and Psychiatry and is now a retired Associate Professor, Department of Nursing at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. Carol’s passion is art, both photography and painting. She has studied photography and painting in The Department of Continuing Studies at Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine, since 2000. She has attended many photographic workshops at the Maine Photographic Workshops in Rockport, Maine and at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In addition to individual and juried group photography shows, Carol’s photography has been published in “Sun Magazine”, “Zephyr, The University of New England’s Literary and Artistic Journal” and “Color” and “Black and White”. Carol’s photographic work has been shown in “45 Degrees Gallery”, “MacLeod/Woodman Gallery” , “Common Camera” and presently at Bob and Carol’s own gallery in Cape Porpoise, “Crow Hill Gallery”. Carol has been a member of the Ogunquit Art Association since 2013 and shows her photography at the Barn Gallery in Ogunquit, Maine. She is also a member of the Kennebunk Art Guild.
