Ms. Keating - Porcaro is an experienced artist, proficient in many forms of art and its related materials. A painter of many subjects and mediums in the realistic style, she is impressed by early American painters, the Hudson River School, and the beauty of New England. M. Keating-Porcaro hopes her artwork reflects some of these influences. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Marilyn later graduatedf rom Fanning School of Commercial art and then Clark University/Worcester Art Museum\'s BFA program, Marilyn Keating married and moved to Gray Maine where she has been in residence for over 30 years raising a family, painting, teaching and working in graphic arts. Cohen \'56, Starting GRAY AREA ARTIST, art group which at one time had over 30 artist involved, was Instrumental in establishing an art space at the GRAY PUBLIC LIBRARY, Judged for the ART IN THE PARK annual show and sale in South Portland, Taught art, cartooning and painting at the GNG Middle school and at her home.
