Painting in acrylics allows me to rapidly render color, line and shape into form. The texture of the paint adds an exciting physical experience and sculptural dimension to the process and piece. I am interested in capturing the mood or feeling of the subject as I experienced it. I graduated from Middlebury College, Middlebury, VT in 1992 with a BA in Art and Economics. In 1999 I completed a Certificate Degree in Graphic Design at Massachusetts College of Art while working at Little Brown & Co. I enjoy the creative problem-solving process of design, but love to step away from the computer and get messy with traditional art supplies. I am a member of the Community House Artists and volunteer gallery manager of 317 Main Street Music in Yarmouth, ME.
