The Wiscasset Schooners
Anita PoulinMedia: Signed Giclee Print #2 of 200
Retail Price: $235.00
Description: The Wiscasset Schooners "Hesper and Luther Little" were laid up at Wiscasset in 1932. As a child I enjoyed visiting Wiscasset just to see the four-masted schooners and imagined myself as a stowaway on these magnificent ships. The ships were a popular tourist attraction for many years. Children in Wiscasset and nearby towns would often be seen exploring the large vessels. In 1998 the ships were deemed a safety hazard and were demolished. The original painting was completed in July 2016 and was sold to a private gallery in NH. This high end Giclee is printed on Arches cold press, 100% rag paper, the finest paper made in France and is the same size ( 20 x 24) as the original painting that was sold for $1000. This print is #2 of 200. The full size of this art piece including matting and frame is 27 x 30.
