Burke Long

Burke Long studied photography at the Maine College of Art and Design, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Maine Media Workshops + College, and the Houston Center for Photography. He has shown his work in juried exhibitions, notably at the Houston Center for Photography, Maine College of Art and Design, River Arts, and the Harlow Gallery. He regularly displays photographs at the annual Maine Photography Show where, in 2018, his image “Migrations” won second prize for color. He collaborates extensively with printmakers, most recently in an exhibition Tête á Tête, held at Circling the Square Fine Art Press in Gardiner and the Railroad Square Cinema in Waterville. In 2018, Railroad Cinema hosted a solo exhibition, For the Love of Glass, as part of its Art in the Lobby series. The Bowdoin Magazine featured Long’s photographs in 2014.
