Caroline de Mauriac
Durham, Maine

Caroline de Mauriac originally hails from central Maine. She spent her youth in New England and New York’s Hudson Valley. After living in the Midwest and traveling widely, she returned to her native land and now resides outside Brunswick, Maine. Caroline holds degrees in Anthropology and Museum Studies (with emphasis in African Studies, Comparative Religion, and Non-profit Administration). She retired following a career working in museums and environmental organizations and operating her used book business. She is a showing member at River Arts in Damariscotta and the Maine Art Gallery in Wiscasset. Her work has appeared in Still Point Arts Quarterly and Snapdragon: Journal of Art and Healing, her images hang in private collections in Maine, Michigan, and Kansas.
