My greatest pleasure is to be on the water, in my kayak during the sunrise or sunset hours. Having spent many years on Vinalhaven, the second largest lobstering community in Maine, I am afforded many opportunities to witness the respective morning and evening light and the lobstering community doing their work. The variety of boats heading out, the different weather conditions and the chance to be a witness to this event from the perspective of my kayak is a gift to me.
