"I began painting with oils about ten years ago after retiring from a long career in nursing. I work with a limited color palette and love mixing colors to try and transform places I have been and images I have seen and photographed into a painting that others might enjoy. Maine never disappoints me with its offerings of subjects waiting to be painted." Elisabeth has exhibited in Auburn, Bath, Belfast, Brunswick, Falmouth, Kennebunkport, Lewiston, Norway, Portland, Sanford and Yarmouth. She is a member of Maine Women in the Arts and lives in Auburn, Maine, with her husband and their golden retriever.
