A watercolorist, with a style of one’s own, Kathy is a landscape painter. Happiest painting in plein air capturing the beauty of Maine. Using the natural light and shadows while preserving the watercolors transparent qualities. Working in her home studio, she is currently experimenting with different types of paper and subject matter. Her paintings have been included in many juried shows across Maine. A new member of the New England Watercolor Society, her work was most recently juried into the Gallery Show at the Plymouth Art Center. She is also a member of the Plein Air Painters of Maine, The Boothbay Region Art Foundation, past president of the Casco Bay Art League and a new member to River Arts. Her favorite places to paint continue to include the Boothbay Harbor region, Monhegan, and the islands of Casco Bay. Her paintings have been collected in and out of the country.
