Meg Schefter

Having grown and lived in multiple states along the Appalachian Mountain Range and moving to Maine in 2020 for my partner's career, I have found the flora of the mountains to be a great inspiration. I received my degree in Studio Arts with a focus in ceramics and spent a majority of my time teaching and working as a studio manager until 2020. The last two years, with great support from my partner and son (as well as the best studio pup and tortoise a gal could have), I have focused on refining my style and technique. While I call myself a ceramic artist, my family calls me a painter of clay. While home has been many places in my life, Chelsea, Maine is the most recent and the state of Maine being the most inspiring of them all.
