I am a fine arts photographer from West Bath, Maine. My subjects include city streets, fishing villages, marshes, mountains, forests, and farmlands. I go to these places without expectations, but always with the same goals: chase the light, be present in the moment, and see what others miss. My representational and abstract images capture moments of beauty and insight that are grounded in a sense of place, evoke emotions, or tell a story. I am inspired by the interface of land, water, and sky, the passing of time, the circle of life, and the darkness on the edge of town. My photographs have been exhibited at the Art Guild of the Kennebunks, the Brickstore Museum, Kennebunk, the Kennebunk River Club, the Black Hole Gallery, Rockland, the Port Gallery, Kennebunkport, Maine College of Art & Design, the Maine Photography Show, the University of New England, River Arts Gallery, Damariscotta, Union of Maine Visual Artists, Portland, Yarmouth Art Festival, Kefauver Gallery, Damariscotta, the Lyceum Gallery, Lewiston.
