I am a retired Kindergarten teacher. I was born in Plymouth, MA. As a high school senior I decided to chose Maine for my college journey and I ended up staying here to begin my teaching career. I am married with three adult children and four fabulously fun, beautiful grandchildren. After thirty six years of teaching I decided to retire with the promise to myself to take art lessons; something I always wanted to do. After a few lessons and meeting up with other local artists, I've been enjoying by free time painting for myself and others. Art (with whichever medium chosen) is such a wonderful way to relax and learn at the same time. Painting has become such a joy in my retired life! My hope is that my paintings can touch others in some way to bring joy into their lives and homes.
