Although my college art concentration was in printmaking, I was much influenced by guest lecturer, assemblage artist Louise Nevelson. In the early 1990s my interest in assemblage was re-awakened by the work of H.R. Giger in the "Alien" movies. Over time my work moved away from the monochromatic and industrial styles of Nevelson and Giger, incorporating colorful elements from the worlds of music and nature. I also use original photography in many of my pieces.
