Tricia Granzier
Scarborough, Maine

Tricia Granzier has lived in coastal New England most of her life, from Connecticut to Boston and for the past 20+ years in Scarborough Maine, so it’s not surprising that coastal life and the changing seasons inspire much of her work. Tricia paints in both oil and acrylic. Her passion for drawing and painting was obvious from a very young age and she credits the influence of an oil-painting grandmother and her scientist parents who taught her the fine art of observation and helped foster her love for nature. Creating art has been a constant in Tricia’s life, even when time was limited during an initial career in the business world and then while raising her three children here in Maine. These days, she is grateful and thrilled to spend her days as a full-time artist from her home studio. In 2020, Tricia was recognized as one of Maine’s Noteworthy Artists by Maine Home + Design Magazine. She is a member of Oil Painters of America and her work has been accepted into numerous juried art shows and has sold to collectors throughout the US. More of her work can be viewed on her website and on her Facebook and Instagram accounts and she is always happy to answer questions and to connect with collectors of her work.
