As a lifelong sailor, I chose to paint SailMaine J boats against Portland’s iconic Munjoy Hill skyline. And hidden in this scene is a little nod to Portland’s beloved Valentine's Day Bandit, Kevin Fahrman, who passed this year and was an avid supporter of SailMaine’s Community Sailing Program.
